Getting there is a breeze with just a one hour ferry ride from Singapore’s Tenah Merah ferry terminal. Upon arrival at the ferry terminal, me and my family was received with warm welcome by Natra Bintan staff. Free shutter service or pre-book limo service are available and the resort is just 10 mins drive from Bintan ferry terminal.
Glamping in Deluxe Tents
Our adventure begins in the resort’s glamping tents, which redefine the camping experience.
We stayed in the Glamping Deluxe Tent of 52sqm/560sqft with 1 King bed and sofa bed.
These spacious tents are designed with comfort in mind, featuring plush bedding with a beautiful draped on a four poster bed, stylish furnishings & a unique touch of nostalgic decor.
My favourite space of the Glamping Deluxe tent is the spacious bathroom lined with plants featuring a big jacuzzi for two and a rain shower.

One of the highlights of Natra Bintan is its stunning Crystal lagoon. The turquoise waters are inviting and immediately catch my eyes upon arrival at the resort. Great for a refreshing swim or a leisurely float under the sun.
With ample lounge chairs for you to relax and soak up the beauty of your surroundings. The lagoon is not just a visual delight; it also offers several water activities for those looking to add a bit of adventure to their stay.
Treasure Bay Bintan offers plenty of activities around the resorts. Chill Cove one-stop attraction park that has a variety of recreational and sporting activities suitable for all ages from dawn till dusk.
There are a few ways of getting around the resort and Crystal Lagoon which is huge. Walking or call for buggy service.
We rented an electric scooter and it’s definitely a fun and easy way of getting around the resort and Chill Cove. It was my first time riding a scooter so I choose a three wheeler.
Nature lovers can ride the all-terrain vehicles (ATV ) through through the scenic trails. Book your desired timing and head to the ATV Center located at the resort.
This exhilarating activity allows you to explore the lush landscapes of Bintan from dirt trail to forest trail. The instructor will teach and guide you through the 45min session and I really enjoyed this adventure ride.
There is a mini trail at the ATV Center for young kids to have a go at riding an ATV
For those looking for an adrenaline rush, cable skiing is a must-try.
Glide across the water while being pulled by a cable system, perfect for both beginners and experienced riders. The instructor will teach you how to wakeboard and prepare to fall and get wet.
Feel the excitement as you perform tricks or simply enjoy the speed on a cable tube for a splashing good time.
Explore the serene waters in a clear kayak, paddle board, floaties, swim or simply splash around at this 6.3 hectares (about the size of 50 Olympic pools), for some fun and relaxation.
Chill Cove’s Crystal Lagoon is Southeast Asia’s first man-made seawater lagoon.
Dive into fun with the slip and slide, a water attraction that promises laughter and excitement. This activity provides a refreshing way to cool off while enjoying a thrilling ride down the slides.
Exploring Bintan’s Mangroves
Discover the rich biodiversity of Bintan’s mangroves on a guided boat tour, a unique experience while on vacay at Natra Bintan resort.
Glide through the serene waterways, where you can observe various wildlife, including birds and other native species. We saw birds, salamanders and snakes slithering quietly on a brunch.
This eco-friendly tour offers a chance to learn about the importance of mangrove ecosystems while enjoying the calm beauty of nature.
We went in the late afternoon and caught a lovely sunset on the way back. Book this on the evening and check out the lovely fireflies at night.
In the evening, The Patio at Natra Bintan Resort is a great place for enjoying the sunset and having a drink while relaxing by the lagoon.

As you arrive, the table is elegantly laid out with candle lights with serene surroundings. We took a stroll at the patio and enjoyed a beautiful sunset and settled on our table in the night sky filled with stars make for a perfect backdrop as you indulge in a meticulously crafted menu featuring exquisite dishes, paired with fine wines.
The 5 course dinner was beautifully plated and tastes delicious. We had appetisers, soup, a choice or fish or beef and a lovely dessert.
We saw some fireworks through the night and that sure added a magical vibes for the romantic dinner.
Later in our stay, we enjoyed a unique BBQ dinner right outside our tent.
The staff set up our patio with dining tables and lights while one of them prepared the BBQ grill. The experience combines the thrill of grilling with a lovely private setting perfect for a family dinner.
The scent of grilled delicacies fills the air, and you can engage in the fun of cooking together, choosing from a variety of fresh ingredients and marinades. We had a variety of seafood and meat paired with hotdog buns, salads, fruits and desserts.
The BBQ dinner offers a sense of privacy, allowing you to savour each bite while enjoying each other’s company under the canopy of stars in the night sky.
